Le Bouchon Parisien: Reviews & Ratings
A beautiful dinner near the Eiffel Tower. Although the restaurant is close to the tower and attracts many tourists, the food and ambience are fantastic! We enjoyed the escargot (our adult children's first try, and they loved it), chicken cordon bleu (accompanied by nice pasta), mussels (small shells but plentiful and tasty), and the beef stew (wow!). We also ordered Foie gras as a starter - so mouthwatering that we had to fight for the last piece! The staff were all friendly, and managed to recommend us a rather expensive side of Cotes du Rhone, but we were glad that we obliged, as it was lovely. It was bustling on Sunday night, but we did not need to book a table. The price range is comparable to London, but the food quality is far better, I must say! All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend! (Oh, and the pudding was delicious too. The crème brûlée was silky, and a chocolate mousse to die for!!)
I had an amazing meal here. So much food for the price. It’s right near the Eiffel Tower so great place to stop by before or after your tour. I definitely recommend getting the 12 count escargot appetizer. If I only ordered 6 I would’ve been disappointed they went so quickly. The snails were tender. The sauce was delicious and not greasy tasting. They serve bread to dip in the sauce. I ordered the mussels and fries for my entree. I never ate so many mussels in my life. I have no idea how many dozen. The broth was light and flavorful. Make sure you stir them around as you eat. The fries were thin and crispy. The best ones I had in Paris. I wish I found the place sooner because I want to try more of their dishes.
We ended up in this restaurant completely by accident — and it turned out to be a true gift of fate. The service here is impressively high-level. We’ve visited many places in Paris, but we have never experienced such sincere, attentive, and genuinely professional service anywhere else. It feels as if every staff member works with love and a true understanding of how important it is to make each guest’s evening perfect. The dishes were incredibly delicious. We ordered escargots, oysters, frog legs, linguine, and steak — and every single dish was excellent, prepared with care and a refined sense of taste. I would also like to highlight the prices. Despite the restaurant being located very close to the Eiffel Tower, the prices are more than reasonable. We live in Poland, in Warsaw, and there, two steaks at a good restaurant would cost about the same as everything we ordered here. And that’s considering the exceptional quality! We were absolutely delighted and wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. And the next time we are in Paris — we will definitely come back. Sending the restaurant team our warmest regards and once again thanking them for a wonderfully delicious dinner!
